Didn't get enough of Shirley Chung during Top Chef New Orleans? Well, she's back, this summer. Chung, who's opening Twenty Eight — Modern Chinese Cuisine in Irvine, Calif., this month, will make an appearance on Top Chef Duels, just announced today. She appears during the second episode that pits 18 former Top Chef personalities in the kitchen.

Celebrity chef Curtis Stone hosts this 10-episode series starting on Wednesday, Aug. 6, at 10 p.m. Top Chef mainstay Gail Simmons returns, and some chefs such as Wolfgang Puck, Daniel Boulud and Hugh Acheson will make rotating appearances. Plus, a stock of celebrity guests such as comedian Shailene Woodley, singer Pink and more help with the judging duties.

The show includes three rounds of battles between two chefs with the first two competitions meant to target a chef's weakest skill. The final challenge determines the winner who moves on to the season finale, where the winner earns $100,000 and a Food and Wine feature.

Also of note, Puck hosts an online version similar to Top Chef's Last Chance Kitchen dubbed The Knockout, except here, the chef only needs to win once to make The Knockout online finals

Chung takes on Brooke Williamson, the Top Chef Seattle runner up. Stay tuned for more details.
