Pizza Buddha has opened inside the pan-Asian street market-themed F.A.M.E. dining emporium at The Linq. However, the new tagline displayed on F.A.M.E.'s window now promotes "a Chinatown food experience" as the concept still attempts to find its footing and audience along The Linq's pedestrian promenade.
Pizza Buddha's simple menu serves up a selection of individual pies, no slices, starting at $9, with some unusual ingredients such as calamari and Thai chicken.
Created by Mark DiMartino, who also invented the Tilted Kilt themed restaurant that sits less than 10 steps away from F.A.M.E., the original Pizza Buddha location opened in Anthem in November 2012 and abruptly shuttered one month later.
If wowed by the menu, guests can also buy Pizza Buddha T-shirts featuring the smiling icon logo for a non-enlightened $28 or drop $18 on a baseball cap.
