With a name like Grinders Pizza Lounge you know you'll get more than a slice. Inspired by the East Coast parlance for a hoagie or sub-style sandwich, Grinders specializes in home-made bread, those oven-baked sandwiches and they now have a license to serve craft beers and wine. The 1,500-square-foot space was formerly the Pizza Grill and has been remodeled with rustic wood floors and custom tables.

The menu includes NY-style pizza, served red or white, with personal pies priced at $8.99 and the "big" for $13.99. A slice is $2.50. The unfussy topping selection includes pepperoni, salami, anchovy, spinach and peppers.

The grinders themselves feature choices like cheese steak, Italian, pork and BLT, with prices ranging from $6.49 for a half to 13.99 for a whole sandwich. Also available, spinach, arugula and Caesar salads, wings, calamari, fries and for dessert cannoli and zeppole.

The eclectic beer collection include Dogfish Head Namaste, Rogue Mocha Porter and Great Basin Bitchin Berry. Wines currently available include Caposaldo Prosecco, Lost Angel Moscato and Ritual Sauvignon Blanc.
