Kerry Simon, dubbed the "rock 'n' roll chef" by Rolling Stone magazine, now has his very own culinary memorabilia case at the Hard Rock Hotel.

Inside the display find a photograph of Simon and his longtime friend actor Bill Murray in matching Elvis suits, a bust of Simon painted purple, a black chefs coat from Simon Kitchen & Bar, an autographed guitar, culinary knives, an image of him as a young chef with Bianca Jagger and some of his awards.

In 2002, Simon partnered with restaurateur Elizabeth Blau to open Simon Kitchen & Bar at the Hard Rock Hotel. The venue was selected as one of "America's Best New Restaurants" by Esquire in 2003. Simon, the chef behind Simon Restaurant at Palms Place, Carson Kitchen downtown and KGB: Kerry's Gourmet Burgers at Harrah's Las Vegas, was diagnosed with MSA last year and his been confined to a wheelchair.
