Bar Vdara to Heat Up a Fiery Makeover

It's not just Vdara's CityCenter neighbors who are making over their lounges.

Bar Vdara's outdoor patio is due to receive an estimated $250,000 construction upgrade. Adding to the already popular design elements of outdoor swings and a reflecting pool, the improvements will add new ceiling fans and the promise of currently unspecified "fire features" and "flame appliances."

Next door at Aria, the former City Bar is being completely transformed in the 2,360-square-foot Alibi Cocktail Lounge from the Light Group. Their budget is estimated at a considerably more dramatic $2,667,849.
