Reviews of Mercadito, Naked City Pizza

Brock Radke heads to Mercadito at Red Rock Resort. "…the best of this class, suddenly, is Mercadito, the taco-centric Chicago transplant powered by the Sandoval brothers … and the Tippling Brothers," he says.

He says the food here is best shared. He suggests ordering tastings of ceviches, guacamoles and salsas. He suggests the "sublime" queso fundido and the "ambitious" tacos. He debates whether the crispy mahi mahi or the blackened swordfish is the best fish taco in town. [LVW]

Michael Uzmann gives Naked City Pizza on Paradise four out of five stars. "Naked City Pizza on Paradise may not have the gritty charm that some love about the original but with pastas this good and service to match I hardly think most will mind." He recommends the Hot Mama with its salami and ham on house baked roasted garlic bread, the runny egg carbonara, tiramisu and chicken wing dip. [EE]
