The substantial upgrade of Italian restaurant Terra Rossa at Red Rock Resort has a new name and some new details. The estimated $700,000 construction budget will turn the place into Rossa Italian Cuisine. The 7,402-square-foot footprint will feature room for 362, with a full remodel of the interior and completely reworking the exterior. The patio will be extended, removing part of the existing water feature and new seating shaded by awnings will be joined by a new bar. A "contemporary Italian" menu is expected.
Further inside the resort, an equally major $800,000 estimated construction investment will create Noodle Bar. The new 1,087-square-foot Asian restaurant will take over part of the existing, but staying, Grand Café, located between the café and the High Limit gaming room. A new facade will be designed to highlight the two dining destinations and, inside, part of the Grand Café kitchen will be annexed by this new arrival. Noodle Bar is described as "a lively interactive dining experience featuring noodle bowls, dim sum and specialty fried rice."
The makeover joins the already debuted Mercadito Red Rock and the under construction Hearthstone from chef Brian Massie, a "farmer's market-inspired neighborhood restaurant," also featuring a new patio. A mid-October debut is promised for Hearthstone.
