The spirit of Pizza Buddha, the formerly failed Henderson creation of serial entrepreneur Mark DiMartino, will be reborn at The Linq.
Located inside the Asian street market-themed F.A.M.E. dining bazaar, Pizza Buddha's kitchen, neon and advertising are ready, just awaiting the finishing touches before serving up slices.
DiMartino was the original creator of another Linq resident, the Tilted Kilt Irish pub concept that now looks directly into F.A.M.E's windows from across the promenade. Pizza Buddha will also diagonally face rival Flour & Barley's take out window, the Linq's other pizza joint, located a few steps away.
Pizza Buddha opened in Anthem in November 2012 and strangely shuttered one month later. The concept, which included a "Wish Keeper vessel" so guests could write down their good karma wishes, was intended to launch a new franchise. The Henderson space has remained vacant since the closing.
At The Linq, Pizza Buddha is moving rapidly to meet its "coming soon" promise. It joins the newly opened Beard Papa's cream puff counter.
