Mochiko Chicken Now Serving Hawaiian Fusion Style

If you want a jump start on a new venture before the local buzz, Mochiko Chicken is finally open in soft mode.

Serving Hawaiian fusion dishes, the former food truck had attempted to raise construction funding via Kickstarter last November.

Mochiko, meaning rice flour in Japanese, focuses on its specialty fried chicken, in combination platters with two- to three-piece orders. The chicken also features in their Hawaiian fusion bowls and salads as well.

The 19-seat restaurant features counter service. Mochiko's social media has yet to catch up with the opening news, leaving operating hours and the full menu awaiting further announcements.
