Raising Cane's Expands to Henderson, Needs a Nickname

Raising Cane's, the Louisiana-based chicken finger franchise, is bringing its seventh Las Vegas location to the St. Rose Pavilion commercial center in Henderson. Hiring for all positions has begun.

Little known is the franchise has officially given all its Las Vegas outlets a nickname inspired by the setting and popular culture. "The Showgirl" is located at 4655 W. Charleston Blvd., "The Flamingo" is on Flamingo Rd., "The Strip" is naturally on Las Vegas Blvd, "The Hills" operates in Centennial Hills and "The Fifth Element" resides at 7135 South Rainbow. Henderson has yet to receive a suitable moniker.

During the opening of their sixth location, "The Rock," owners MRG Marketing & Management Inc. revealed future openings were expected in Summerlin and near Nellis Air Force Base.
