The American Tavern Made LV from Kim Canteenwalla, Elizabeth Blau Debuts Tonight

Power food couple Elizabeth Blau and Kim Canteenwalla are at it again, opening Made LV tonight at Tivoli Village. Their second restaurant a mere 1.28 miles from their own Honey Salt debuts with an American tavern feel for lunch and dinner.

Expect to find comfort food here with a menu from Canteenwalla with Blau's healthy twist. Daniel Boling, formerly of The Lodge at Torrey Pines in San Diego, executes the menu.

Some of the dishes here include small plates such as butcher's style chicken wings; a jars second of the menu with lentil and chickpea hummus served with house pita chips and iced crudités; salads such as the Tivoli market salad with Tuscan kale, Upland Cress hearts of palms, breakfast radish, avocado, dried cherries, puffed rice, chai seed dressing; a sandwiches section that includes pulled barbecue pork; and entrees such as smoked Kansas City-style barbecue ribs and the fish fry. A creative cocktail program, craft beers in cans and bottles and seasonal specialty drinks make the menu.

Head over here for dinner from 5 to 11 p.m. nightly and starting Wednesday, lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays.
