Cupcake Closure: Corner Cakes Shutters at Monte Carlo

Corner Cakes, the dessert spot sequel to its MGM Grand sister concept, has shuttered at the Monte Carlo. It had pushed aside local business The Cupcakery in January of this year. Located within the resort's "Street of Dreams" retail stretch at the rear of the property, all reference has now been removed from the company's web page.

The menu included cupcakes, brownies, muffins, mini pies like lemon meringue and took quick turnaround custom cake orders for visitors, including creating cakes with Las Vegas themes.

The 24-hour original location at the MGM Grand remains open.
