Just what Summerlin has wanted. Mercadito at Red Rock Resort serves up brunch starting on Saturday, Sept. 13 from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Naturally, this is brunch, so huevos, meaning eggs, lead the charge with Huevos Ahogados with poached eggs, crispy corn bread and chipotle-hollandaise sauce and Tacos de Huevo with scrambled eggs, pico de gallo, black been hash, chile de arbol salsa, avocado and queso fresco.
Go for a Mexican flair with French toast with the Pan Mexicano or choose the Carnitas Hash. New brunch cocktails include the Mercadito Bloody Mary, Guava Cava, Mango Mimosita and Blanca's Punch. Mercadito's brunch menu also features tacos, guacamoles and ceviches.
Get these item individually or nurse that hangover with what Mercadito is calling "cures." The Hangover Cure lets guests to choose three items for the table and one cocktail per guest for $18 per person. Those who want to delve deeper into the cocktail menu can order the Perfect Cure for $30 per customer with three menu items for the table and two-hour open cocktails including specialty brunch cocktails, house wine and beer.
