Now you have a new spot to pick up decadent breakfasts. The 24-hour The Griddle Cafe, an LA import from Jodi Hortze now open at the SLS Las Vegas, already has lines forming for its giant pancakes including the Banananana, Mom's French toast and the baked potato omelet. But the restaurant serves up more than just breakfast. Find the shrimp BLT, boozy pancake shakes and pitchers of bloody Marys, margaritas and strawberries and champagne. The only thing here that might hurt your hangover is the sheer size of this massive menu.
The 3,496-square-foot restaurant has a diner feel and a horseshoe bar fronting the open kitchen. The 164 guests here can belly up to the counter or sit in one of the enormous booths. And those waiting in line can peer inside the space through open windows or amuse themselves with the scratch-and-sniff wall. You can do that here.
