You heard it here first. California-based Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar have confirmed an Eater Vegas reveal they are headed to Downtown Summerlin and are aiming for an early 2015 debut.

Open for lunch and dinner daily and serving brunch on Saturday and Sunday, their under construction 9,174-square-foot restaurant will be bolstered by a 2,038-square-foot dog-friendly patio. There will be multiple flat-screen TVs outside and inside framing a prominent central bar.

Echoing the chain's 14 other locations, the rustic decor will add fireplaces, a chandelier "crafted from Aspen logs," real "ledge stone" accents and fabric or leather-lined booths and chairs. Plus, plenty of artwork featuring pooches.

Executive chef Gabriel Caliendo will oversee a menu including Baja California burgers, chicken poblano with crispy tamale cakes and pomegranate Caesar salad. Shareable items planned include "Hatch Chili and Bacon Mac N' Cheese" and Sicilian turkey meatballs adapted from a recipe from the chef's grandmother.

In addition to their hand-crafted cocktails, their craft brew list is highlighted by Lazy Dog's own brand created in collaboration with Golden Road Brewing.

The majority of the 106-acre, 1.6 million-square-foot indoor-outdoor Downtown Summerlin destination will open Oct. 9.
