Now you can have breakfast 24 hours a day at the new Pantry at the Mirage. The restaurant taking over the former B.B. King's Blues Club space with a $3 million price tag serves up three meals, but most exciting are the breakfasts coming round the clock. Look for cinnamon roll French roast with caramelized bananas and macerated berries topped with mascarpone vanilla cream, feta and spinach scrambled eggs, and short rib pot roast hash with poached eggs among the dishes.
The restaurant plans to have jars of homemade jelly on the tables, a pancake and pastry of the day and a bacon of the menu, all scrawled on chalkboards announcing specials. For those who need a quick cure for their hangover, a fresh vegetable juices including pomegranate, carrot orange mango, and cucumber pineapple ginger.
You can still pick up lunch and dinner from 11 a.m. to 6 a.m. New England clam chowder, Mahi Mahi tacos, a roasted turkey BLT and fried chicken are just some of the dishes served.
Dessert also comes out any time of day. Find a seasonal fruit cobbler and on the spot baked cookies, among others.
Munge Leung created the look of the space that reminds you of your grandmother's pantry. Hardwood floors and bright white walls lined with cabinets that house china make up the decor while clocks and nostalgic art pieces give the space a homey feel. The servers here wear flannel and denim to add to that old timey feel.
