Once Whiskey Dick's, then Blues BBQ, Sauce Italian-American Bistro has debuted across the street from the Sunset at Galleria in Henderson, with a two plan approach for customers.
During the day, the family friendly, casual dining menu includes burgers, sandwiches, heartier dishes like sauced sea bass and a full range of pasta dishes with an array of sauces to choose. They also specialize in hand tossed pizza like the quattro formaggi, chicken pesto or shrimp scampi. Appetizers include pepperoni stuffed fried cheese and arancini. For dessert, cannoli and zeppoli are on the menu. Happy hour in the bar runs from 4 to 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. to midnight, plus all day on Sundays.
Current $7.99 lunch deals include half soup and salad or half panini and salad.
At night, the 10,985-square-foot venture promotes "Vegas Style Nightlife After Dark" featuring karaoke every Friday and live music every Saturday.
Sauce is open daily from 11 a.m. to midnight and until 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.
