Delhi Indian Cuisine with its never-ending buffet at 4022 S. Maryland Pkwy. was shut down by the Southern Nevada Health District after a routine inspection found 45 demerits.
Inspectors found ineffective pest control measures, food unprotected from potential contamination, reused single-use items, an inadequate number of hand-washing sinks and more.
SNHD has only inspected the restaurant two other times in 2014 with a B grade followed by an A grade after a re-inspection.
The Southern Nevada Health District routinely shuts down restaurants that receive more than 40 demerits. Restaurants have the option of requesting a re-inspection before the next scheduled inspection.
