Pieology to Bring Kustom Pizza to Downtown Summerlin

There was one thing missing from the forthcoming fast food district at the southern section of Downtown Summerlin and the void will be filled by pizza.

Pieology Pizzeria, a chain created by the family of tennis champion Michael Chang, will be joining a collection of casual dining options on Lavender Hill Drive.

With an estimated $250,000 construction budget, the Pieology space will be housed in a long stretch of building hosting locals Sushi Loca, Five Guys Burgers & Fries, and Moe's Southwest Grill's Mexican-inspired menu.

Pieology creates their "kustom" pizzas from scratch in under five minutes with the option for the customer to chose from more than 30 toppings and and five different sauces.

They already operate six locations in California, two in Minnesota and one in Oregon. An Arizona spot is scheduled to open in October.

Their Las Vegas outpost will have to hurry if they want to meet the opening date of the 106-acre, 1.6 million-square-foot open-air complex. Ready or not, doors officially open at Downtown Summerlin on Oct. 9.
