Las Vegas' über-restauranteur couple Elizabeth Blau and Kim Canteenwalla are ready to reveal the name behind their restaurant coming to Downtown Summerlin. Meet Andiron Steak & Sea, the couple's homage to all things, grilled, roasted, shucked and seared. The restaurant sits on the very north side of the new shopping center slated to debut on Oct. 9 on Festival Plaza Drive just east of Lazy Dog and south of Red Rock Resort.
Andiron refers to the metal supports that hold wood burning in a fireplace.
Blau and Canteenwalla plan to focus on premium meats, shellfish, seafood and seasonal market sides. Designer Thomas Schlesser, who created the looks for Bar Boulud, David Burke Kitchen and Má Pêche is in charge of the look and feel of the restaurant. Expect a spring 2015 opening.
The couple already has their wildly popular Honey Salt and just opened Made LV in Tivoli Village.
