The battle for your local chicken wing or finger purchasing loyalty continues with Utah's Wing Nutz entering the ring. First announced in January, the Salt Lake City, Utah-based franchise will be opening a 1,900-square-foot sports-themed location, just north of the Bruce Woodbury Beltway, inside a former Jamba Juice.
Their specialty is baked chicken wings, not fried, hog wings, sandwiches, salads, sandwiches, sides and quesadillas. Plus providing more than 18 custom sauces for your dipping pleasure, with exotic choices like Parmesan curry, raspberry chipotle and super hot "Purgatory" options.
Wing Nutz also serves their own evolving menu of "Nut Job Beer" creations, with tongue-in-cheek names like "Tree Hugger Organic Amber Ale," "WingMan Pale Ale" and "Brown Beard's Delight Stout," a dry stout brewed with "oatmeal, roasted barley, pale, caramel and chocolate malts and Chinook hops."
Wing Nutz operates 13 restaurants in Utah, one in Idaho, with six more planned for states west of Salt Lake City.
