The Four Seasons Las Vegas’ restaurant Verandah shut down earlier this month for a $1 million remodel, and now the resort at the very southern end of the Strip has unveiled the new Veranda Cucina Italiana. Yes, note the "h" is gone from the restaurant’s name, reflecting a more Italian flair to the space.
Engstrom Design Group was behind the remodel that uses more natural light from the outdoor terrace and surrounding garden, earth tone colors, textured leather and wood. The entrance features lounge chairs from the Italian-born artist Harry Bertoia. At the bar find burnt oranges and white textured leather on bucket stools. A center communal table for eight sits in the space.
Chef Antonio Minichiello cooks up Italian specialties inspired by his childhood in Italy with handmade pastas and seasonal specialties from the restaurant’s wood-fired oven.
During the week, Veranda still has a power breakfast and lunch and on the weekends, a breakfast buffet with a fresh doughnut machine and bloody Mary bar. Additionally, a daily happy hour offers $7 appetizers, $7 cocktails and $7 wines by the glass.
