HARD ROCK HOTEL — The Hard Rock Cafe launches Rough & Booze – A Drag Brunch on Sunday, Sept. 28, with local queen Kitty Litter and her girls. The brunch features bottomless mimosas for $20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. along with New Orleans-style chicken and waffles, biscuits with country gravy, a South of the Border breakfast skillet, hazelnut brandy French toast and more. DOWNTOWN — Wednesdays Downtown returns to the Fremont East Entertainment District on Wednesday, Oct. 8, with a Food Truck Village, Painters Lounge, the “World’s Greatest Happy Hour by Coors,” Silent Disco and more, from 6 p.m. to midnight. The fall series of Wednesdays Downtown will run through the end of October. Chef John Courtney and Nicole Brisson, the executive chef at Carnevino, will headline on Oct. 8. Foodie fans can also choose from a food truck line up including Dragon Grill, Truk-U-BBQ, Can't Dutch This, The Hummus Factory, and Slidin’ Thru. Tiabi Coffee & Waffles will be serving their signature pumpkin waffles. At 9:30 p.m. the Downtown Dirty Bar Fight features bartenders battling for a trip to sponsor Death’s Door Distillery in Washington Island, Wis. Commonwealth, Park on Fremont, The Griffin, Beauty Bar, Triple B, Le Thai, Inspire, Wayfarer, The Beat, Insert Coins, El Cortez, Vanguard, La Comida, and Vanguard will have drink specials and entertainment, including live performances and DJs.
