"Nobody could do an omelet. I would not have served any of their omelets in our restaurants. It was terrible."

Wolfgang Puck sure knows how to cut straight to the point. In an interview with Huffington Post, he questioned whether some of the contestants on Top Chef even deserved to be on the show.

"There are many times when I wanted to say, you know what, don't call the show Top Chef, because some of the contestants don't know how to cook! … I remember one of the shows we did, I had six chefs... and I had them make an omelet. Nobody could do an omelet. I would not have served any of their omelets in our restaurants. It was terrible. I said, 'You guys are chefs?' I asked the producers, 'Can we fire them all?'... It's amazing how sometimes the people cook terrible food."

Puck has been a judge on the first season of Top Chef Duels and on Top Chef Seattle.
