Casa Fuente, the cigar lounge at the Forum Shops at Caesars, is keeping up with the neighbors and has temporally shuttered while it remodels. They are closed from today until late October, to be ready for Cigar Aficionado magazine's Big Smoke event at the Mirage on Nov. 7.

Casa Fuente's owners are encouraging knowledgeable customers to head to local store Cigarbox, or Colosseum Cigars within Caesars Palace to purchase their Fuente brand of cigars.

The estimated $350,000 remodel will increase the humidor size and create a new lounge area.

The upgrade matches the pricey construction work going on all around them. Directly above, an estimated $5 million project is upgrading the mega-mall's escalators and adding a new fountain attraction. Just down the corridor, $1.5 million in work is adding a new mezzanine to Victoria's Secret and a few more steps away, the former animatronic Roman statues and water feature at the Festival Fountain have finally been scrapped and demolished to make way for an open seating area with possible kiosk retail.
