Michael Mina's Pub 1842 at MGM Grand and New Belgium Brewing Co. host a beer pairing dinner on Tuesday, Oct. 7, at 7 p.m. with a four-course menu of Pub 1842 favorites from executive chef Anthony Schutz. And there will be bacon ice cream.
MGM Grand's wine manager and certified cicerone Danielle Grams along with Nick Tribulato of New Belgium Brewing Co. host the event.
Here's a look at the menu and craft beer pairings:
Pork Belly Sliders with pickled veggies, kimchee aioli, and Gochujang sauce and served with shrimp and scallop ceviche paired with New Belgium's Snapshot Wheat.
Pan Seared Black Pepper Ahi Tuna with baby greens, yuzu vinaigrette, and ginger aioli paired with New Belgium's La Folie Sour Brown Ale.
Smoked Brisket with Carolina barbecue sauce, baked beans and jalapeño cornbread paired with New Belgium's Hop the Pond Imperial IPA.
Bacon Ice Cream paired with New Belgium's 1554 Black Lager.
