Chef Vic "Vegas" Moea, once a finalist on TV's Food Network Star, has quietly, but seamlessly, revamped his Vic's restaurant at the Sun City Anthem Center into Café V. The changeover began mid-August.

The focus is now on "new lower prices, more selections" and the addition of a new salad bar. Some menu holdovers remain like his pork chop with applesauce, but the emphasis has shifted to more casual fare, befitting the Café name change. Rather than continue to entice diners who might otherwise head to the Strip, Café V will stick with building on its more local customer base.

Moea took over the former Trumpets space in February 2013, serving 180 seats and offering wall-to-wall, floor to ceiling windows unobstructed views of Las Vegas.

The new full menu is available from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Tuesday to Sunday.
