Constructed behind a foreboding wall of plywood that touted Chocolate Bar was "coming soon," the 665-square-foot corner spot has now arrived at New York-New York looking far punier than the build-out implied.
Blandly designed with an estimated $300,000 in construction costs, the bar trades on its adjacent location to the two-story 13,000-square-foot Hershey's Chocolate World retail attraction. The bar features six stools, one TV and is presumably intended as a wait station for adults while kids roam the Chocolate World next door.
Hours are 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. and the resort is promising a menu of "classic and specialty cocktails inspired by some of your favorite treats."
