Bathe in the Southern Goodness at Yardbird

Edison lamps, wood harvested from old barns and a chalkboard designed by executive chef Todd Harrington highlight the space.

Take a look inside Yardbird Southern Table & Bar, the new Southern restaurant from 50 Eggs out of Miami that opened at the Venetian on New Year’s Day. The 8,000-square-foot-space was designed by the 50 Eggs’ internal design team with room for 180 guests and a private dining room accommodating up to 25 guests. Throughout, find a black-and-white collection of photos of film stars, musicians and icons taken from the 1940s through the '90s by cinematic photographer John R. Hamilton.

The wood here was repurposed from old barns, while chicken wire windows reinforce that old timey feel. Executive chef Todd Harrington stayed late many nights just to create the chalkboard drawings over the kitchen. Go ahead and wander around.
