Yes, Yardbird Southern Table & Bar serves brunch. Every Friday through Sunday, as a matter of fact. Find 35 items on the menu, including some from the supper menu such as the fried green tomato BLT, chicken liver toast, chicken dishes (of course) and mama’s chicken biscuits. But add to that the Yardbird Benedict with buttermilk biscuit crumble, a smoked brisket sandwich, and the ’77 Elvis pancakes with chocolate chips, banana compote, bourbon maple syrup and peanut butter. Every weekend features a quiche and omelet of the day. You can go healthier with chilled watermelon or just a couple of eggs, or go naughty with cinnamon apple hand pies, chocolate chunk sour cream coffee cake and a maple-glazed bacon doughnut.
Brunch starts at 9:30 a.m. and watch out for next week when executive chef Todd Harrington writes on Facebook that lunch kicks in.
