A roving shellfish cart, a killer cocktail program that Hemingway himself might appreciate and French dishes galore are just some of the accoutrements to find at Michael Mina’s new Bardot Brasserie, opening tonight at Aria. More simply, Mina calls it French comfort food with the roasted bone marrow with bacon marmalade, foie gras en croute and steak frites from chef Joshua Smith.

Even the cocktails here tout the eccentricities of Paris’ arrondissements, paying homage to the classics such as the Sidecar from Harry’s Bar and Serendipity from Bar Hemingway, all with their own twists.

Bardot Brasserie takes over the former American Fish space at the resort. Find brunch on Saturdays and Sundays, while lunch, something originally planned for the restaurant, is off the table.
