Say so long to vegan-friendly Wild and hello to Itsy Bitsy: Ramen & Whisky, an Asian restaurant and bar. The joint project brings together the owners of Commonwealth and Park on Fremont with restaurant designer Martin Koleff of Aburiya Raku and Sweets Raku fame, and DJ Five.

The restaurant going in the bottom floor of the Ogden is part of the Downtown Project, the Tony Hsieh-funded real estate developer.

Guests will be able to create their own ramen bowl by picking noodles, broths and toppings. Other menu items include Japanese wakame seaweed salad, gyoza dumplings, garlic edamame, hand rolls with Kurobuta sausage and spicy tuna, and design-your-own rice dishes.

The beverage menu at this "itsy bitsy" 2,500-square-foot restaurant features sakes and Japanese whiskeys in addition to cocktails and craft beers.

Black-stained reclaimed woods and copper accents make up the decor, while the playlist will be "curated" by DJ Five.

Itsy Bitsy plans to be open for lunch and dinner daily, and keeps the ramen and whiskey pouring late on some nights. Look for a spring opening.

Eat’s Natalie Young had taken over the menu at Wild, which touted gluten-free dishes and vegan options. Miki Agrawal out of New York originally founded the restaurant that served gluten-free pizzas.
