Named for the Mykonos Islands in Greece, this new restaurant in Sun City serves up breakfast, lunch and dinner. Owner Helen Menegaki and chef Sakis Milesis feature some Greek dishes until 11 a.m., but it’s really the lunch and dinner menu that shine.
Dishes such as taramosalata, melitzanosalata and bougiourdi bring out the best of the Helenic side of the menu here. Souvlakis in lamb, pork and chicken come with Greek potatoes or rice, while a batter cod comes with Greek garlic mashed potato dip. Go spicy or mild with the shrimp saganaki or order what the menu describes as a “must-have” — the shrimp spaghetti. Dinner entrees here come in the around the mid-teens.
Mykonos hopes to have a liquor license with wine and beer by mid-February.
Through Feb. 28, the restaurant is offering buy one get one breakfast free or buy lunch or dinner and get a free dessert. Just print out the coupon here.
Bonus for pet lovers — they're allowed on the patio.
