Ribs & Burgers, the Aussie casual dining option, now says it plans to open March 17 at Downtown Summerlin.
Created by Seagrass Boutique Hospitality Group, Ribs & Burgers currently operates 10 locations in Australia. The restaurant specializes in eight-hour slow-cooked ribs, free-range chicken breasts and grass fed, hormone free, 100 percent pure beef patties. Organic flour is the base for the buns. Vintage furnishings create the look here.
The concept originated at Sydney's Neutral Bay in 2011. Seagrass also runs four locations of the more up-market, but equally relaxed The Meat & Wine Co. steakhouse. Ribs & Burgers, like Downtown Summerlin Aussie neighbor Gelato Messina, also has an outpost within the Café Court dining area of The Star Sydney Casino & Hotel, the second largest casino in Australia.
