Vegas Uncork’d, the spring food festival from Bon Appétit that takes over the Strip April 23-26, just added Emeril Lagasse to the lineup, marking his first appearance at the nine-year-old event.
Lagasse hosts two seafood-centric events at his New Orleans Fish House at the MGM Grand. On Thursday, April 23, Lagasse kicks it up a notch with The New Orleans Fish House Experience with Emeril Lagasse, where guests dine on his fresh fish and shellfish creations as well as signature dishes paired with wines.
On Saturday, April 25, Lagasse goes poolside with Emeril’s New Orleans Seafood Extravaganza. Stations around the pool plan to serve shucked raw and grilled oysters, whole grilled market fish cooked to order, New Orleans-style boiled seafood, chilled salads and seafood ceviche paired with craft beers.
Lagasse also plans to help out with the Third Annual Chase Sapphire Preferred Grill Challenge on Saturday, April 25, where two Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts students will get a chance to team up with two celebrity chefs. The teams will compete for a $20,000 scholarship, courtesy of Chase Sapphire Preferred.
