Forget Main Street. One block over at the corner of California and Casino Center is the next new activity hub. As Eater Vegas revealed, the former Winfield Manor retail building is being transformed into The Boulevard with a proposed restaurant anchor on the ground floor.
Now comes first word, directly across the street, a currently vacant lot will be the site for a 20,916, four-story project, including a two-story restaurant featuring a rooftop patio terrace.
With a partial brick veneer facade, and box African Sumac and Chinese Pistache trees surrounding the building, the concept currently holds the working name of Lofts @ East 197.
Each floor occupies 5,229 square feet with five separate retailers imagined for the first floor. Above them, a floor filled with office space. Then on level three, a single restaurant tenant will receive the bonus of stairway and elevator access to the entire top floor rooftop terrace. The 360 views include the closest visual landmark, the Stratosphere tower.
BHM Investments, Hartman Development and Henderson architects Almany Architecture are behind the Lofts. No timetable for completion has yet been announced.
