More Than Pizza, Slice of Vegas Hosts First Craft Beer Dinner

MANDALAY PLACE — Slice of Vegas at Mandalay Place wants to show it's not just about the pie. On Oct. 27 from 6 p.m to 8 p.m., the restaurant hosts its first "Craft Beer Dinner," pouring brews paired with a four-course menu from chef George Motsinger.

If you purchase early, entry costs $40; at the door, the price will be $45. Reservations can be made by calling 702-632-6470.

New Belgium Le Terroir –  Micro-greens salad tossed with beets, goat cheese, diced oranges, candied walnuts and raspberry with a rosemary vinaigrette
Firestone Easy Jack – Lobster spaghetti made with a creamy tomato sauce, chili flake, and lemon zest.
New Belgium Abbey – Pan seared short ribs with polenta, sprinkled parmesan and finished with fresh watercress .
Firestone Velvet Merkin – Tiramisu of ladyfingers made with a shot of espresso, rum, mascarpone, cognac and cocoa. [EaterWire]
