Featuring an imaginative and very ambitious site rendering to entice new tenants, Harmon Square across from the Hard Rock Hotel is back on schedule to revitalize their corner retail center, best known for hosting the KISS Monster Mini Golf attraction.
First announced back in April, a Checkers drive-thru burger restaurant will anchor the Square with work starting soon on their 3,065-square-foot project with estimated $450,000 construction budget. The plan is for seven Checkers to eventually circle Las Vegas. The company is best known to East Coast burger fans under their alternate name of Rally's.
The ambitious design rendering of Harmon Square includes giant sculptures of a sombrero, giant pandas, hot-dogs, pizza and sodas, with the aim to lure in national chains. A current, updated sales brochure features a Roberto's Taco Shop as a future tenant, which would make it the closest location to the Strip for the ubiquitous local taco team. Roberto's can also be found in front of the Las Vegas Premium Outlets — South.
