Wynn Las Vegas confirms Eater Vegas’ July news that The Buffet at Wynn with its "15 live-action cooking stations" shutters on Thursday, Oct. 22, for a renovation.

With an estimated construction budget alone of $3,661,300, the remodel includes new interior partitions, doors, acoustic wall and ceiling panels, 12 interior awnings, plus improvements in the kitchen including new sinks and equipment.

The Buffet plans to reopen on Monday, Nov. 23, with 120 new dishes.

Also of note at Wynn, Terrace Point Café picks up the slack and now offers full dinner service with new hours from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. through Nov. 22.

Botero shutters after a final night of service on Sunday, Nov. 1, being replaced by a three-meal restaurant that should reopen in mid-December.

And Tryst Nightclub closes the doors after a final shindig on Nov. 7. Wynn hasn’t announced what “contemporary nightlife concept” replaces it or when.

Of course, on Monday, Bartolotta Ristorante di Mare abruptly changed over to Costa di Mare with Italian seafood from Mark LoRusso.
