The team behind Spaghetty Western in Southern Highlands created a new way to serve Italian quick and casual meals, but not have to bake a pizza. Pasta Idea has brought a simple premise to a 817-square-foot, hidden corner spot at the Summergate retail center just on the north side of Summerlin, once home to Jasmine Thai Gourmet. Guests choose a noodle base, then add their sauce and walk away with a meal.
Pasta Idea points out they import ingredients from Italy llke "Prosciutto Crudo di Parma and San Daniele, Speck, Pancetta, Parmigiano Reggiano and Tartufo." Guests can choose from 14 dishes, ranging from spaghetti priced at $3.95 to lobster ravioli at $9.95. Sauces include puttanesca, a spicy "red diablo," pink vodka, creamy alfredo and the "romagna," a $11.95 topping with shrimp, asparagus and grape tomatoes.
Entrees like meat lasagna, mac and cheese and meatball subs are also available, as is a small kids menu and cannolis and tiramisu for dessert. The company is also introducing delivery to local neighborhoods.
