DOWNTOWN — More than 3,000 craft beer lovers take over Clark County Amphitheater during Motley Brews’ fourth annual Downtown Brew Festival, featuring more than 250 craft brews from more than 70 local, national and international breweries. The event on Saturday from 5 to 9 p.m. includes Not Your Father’s Root Beer, Founder’s Brewing Co., Acoustic Ales, Ballast Point, Chaucer’s Cellars, Left Hand Brewing Co., Modern Times, Pizza Port Brewing Co., Shades of Pale, Speakeasy Ales & Lagers, Stone Brewing Co. and more. Beer-infused menu items come from Itsy Bitsy Ramen & Whisky, Mochiko Chicken, MTO Café, Slo-Boy, Truk-N-Yaki, Sausagefest, QFS Tacos and Urban Turban. Tickets start at $40 online or $45 at the door.
SUNSET STATION — Barbecue, live music and beer come with Oktoberfest on Saturday, Oct. 24, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 25, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. A $6 ticket, $1 for kids 10 and under, includes the $10,000 Barbecue Contest & People’s Choice on Sunday; access to vendors selling barbecue, funnel cake, cotton candy, kettle corn and more; a Kid’s Zone with face painting and bounce houses; and live music.
