Bella Vita Debuts The Good Life at The District at Green Valley Ranch

Bella Vita is now serving its "obsessive Italian cuisine" at The District at Green Valley Ranch, taking over a bright space with a patio, originally planned to host an expansion of Luna Rossa Ristorante.

Decorated with huge murals inspired by ancient Italy, the menu from chef Marco D'agati, who has worked for London's Provençal bistro-inspired Aubaine chain, promises "a healthy and historic approach to authentic yet modern preparations."

Dishes include beef carapaccio for $15, tuna tartare priced at $16 and fritto misto, crispy calamari, for $14 as part of their appetizer choices. Pizza includes the Primo Amore with "parmigiano, burrata, cherry automates and arugula" for $14 and the tartufata at $15 made with "mozzarella, spicy salami, speck and truffle oil."

The main dinner menu offers Spaghetti Pomodoro e Basilico, Penne Boscaiola and Linguine Carbonara among the pasta dishes and braised lamb shank for $35, hanger steak, veal, chicken scaloppini, grilled pork chop and Pollo al Mattone for $35, created with a "half chicken, bean puree, butternut squash and red wine sauce."

A daily 3 to 6 p.m. happy hour prices a select menu at $8 per dish, including tuna brushetta al pondoro, arancini, caprese and an Italian charcuterie selection.
