Downtown Container Park’s Oak & Ivy will expand with Vault early next year, opening a "classic American" themed tavern inside the former Coterie fashion boutique at 515 Fremont St.
Slotted in between The Griffin and Beauty Bar,the 3,250-square-foot bar has already applied to host an additional 300-square-foot patio out on Fremont East and is also waiting to apply to the city's Alley Beautification Program to improve their section of the Get Back Alley right behind the tavern to offer some limited seating options.
Inside, guests will walk into whiskey bar section of Vault, featuring two separate bar stations. The menu will specialize in spirits, barrel-aged whiskeys and offer "12 handpicked craft beers and ciders on draft." Homemade snacks and small bites will be created for the limited dining menu.
The curious can then venture further back into the space to discover the "Library Bar," lined on one side with bookcases. Seating at Vault will offer bar stools, high-top tables and leather banquettes.
