MANDALAY BAY — Cirque du Soleil and Hakkasan ended their ownership and management respectively of Light Nightclub and Daylight at the resort. "Expect, then, a major rebranding of Light and Daylight in coming months," the Las Vegas Sun says. [LVS]

SLS LAS VEGAS — Sam Nazarian sold his minority stake in the money-losing property and gives up his management as well. The Los Angeles Times hints that San Francisco-based Stockbridge Capital Partners, which owns a 90 percent stake in the resort, plans to buy Nazarian's 10 percent share. Nazarian’s personal troubles with the resort started when the Nevada Gaming Control Board found out that "he was involved in drug use and had been targeted for extortion payments." [LAT]
