Bōchō Downtown Sushi has undergone a series of tweaks at the former John E. Carson Hotel, dropping their all-you-can-eat option and positioning chef Joon Cho as the master of their menu, now upgraded with new items.
Value seekers missing their AYCE choice can still opt for Bōchō's happy hour deals and guests can now turn to the "Bōchō Bites" section of the menu. Dishes include 4 New Zealand baked mussels prepared "dynamite style," Bōchō' Fried Chicken, their karage-style bites with dipping sauce priced at $7 and the Combo Tostada, a $14 creation made with 4 kinds of fish and house made guacamole.
Lunch available until 3 p.m now includes the Miso 'Hungry' Ramen, featuring a miso based broth, plus ramen noodles, pork belly, vegetables and an egg and for a restaurant named after the Japanese word for knife, there is the Killer Curry Katsu served over rice.
Bōchō will celebrate their one year anniversary next month.
