Oh la la. Florida-based Le Macaron jumped onto the scene with two locations at the Grand Canal Shoppes and the Galleria at Sunset, both very open. The slice of France takes over a 1,385-square-foot space at the Grand Canal Shoppes overlooking the gondoliers serenading their passengers.
Look for macarons in flavors including basil white chocolate, Columbian coffee, salted caramel, Belgian chocolate, Madagascar black vanilla, rose petals, raspberry, lavender white chocolate, chocolate praline, passion mango, coconut cream, Sicilian pistachio and more
Local chocolatier Jean-Marie Auboine dishes out caramels, dragees, truffles, marshmallows and more.
Diners can also pick up French-made gelato in traditional and new flavors including chocolate, vanilla, mint, apricot, caramel, violet, strawberry and piña colada
The version at the Grand Canal Shoppes includes Le Macaron’s Champagne Bridge, spanning the Grand Canal. There, drink champagne with those macarons.
Le Macaron plans to open two more unidentified Las Vegas locations.
