Richard Lovelady, the chief local brewer for Gordon Biersch, and a company of family members are on track to debut their Lovelady Brewing in downtown Henderson next spring. The 5,975-square-foot, built from the ground up concept will feature a "tap house" and outdoor covered patio.
Ground was broken in August and now the exterior frame will be finished shortly, filling an empty lot on the corner of Water Street and Victory Road.
Original plans indicated the brewery would not serve food, but instead intended to host regular visits from food trucks. Inside guests will be able to tour the brewery and tap room and sample Lovelady's personal craft beer creations.
