Clique Hospitality Rumored To Take Over Mercadito at Red Rock Resort

Big rumors flying out of the Mercadito at Red Rock Resort. A tipster reports that the Mexican restaurant from partners Alfredo and Felipe Sandoval with dishes from chef and partner Patricio Sandoval changes ownership in February. Clique Hospitality, which already operates Hearthstone Kitchen & Cellar as well as Salute Trattoria Italiana at the resort, plans to take over management of the Mexican restaurant. Brian Massie, a partner in Clique with Andy Masi and Shane Monaco, plans to revamp the menu. Expect a name change as well.

Clique plans to open a lounge with food from Massie at Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas under the Clique name closer to Christmas. More lounges and restaurants are on the horizon as well.

At one time, Mercadito planned to open a second location at Green Valley Ranch as well as a Tippling Hall and Double A cocktail lounge. Neither started construction since they were announced in April 2014. Both were slated to take over the former Terra Verde space. Stay tuned.
