The second Fogo de Chao Brazilian Steakhouse in Las Vegas is now serving up churrasco in Downtown Summerlin. The chain’s 27th restaurant in the United States and 38th restaurant overall roasts its meats over an open fire and delivers them table side via espeto corrido, or "continuous service."
Guests order up the prix fixe tasting menu that includes up to 20 cuts meats, including house specialties such as the picanha (sirloin), filet, ribeye, cordeiro (lamb), lombo (pork) and frango (chicken). Salads, vegetables, hot side dishes, a charcuterie area, smoked salmon and Southern Brazilian side dishes sit on buffets.
This location also features Bar Fogo, “a casual way to experience Fogo with shareable small plates, specialty cocktails and extensive wine selection” as well as a lunch menu and happy hours at the bar and patio.
The 8,024-square-foot project spent $1.2 million for their construction budget to fill a maximum occupancy of 284. The restaurant sits in the Dining Arroyo section of the shopping center near Shake Shack.
