Just four days from now, Mr Chow makes its debut at Caesars Palace with its pristine white design, tuxedo-clad waitstaff and views of the Garden of the Gods Pool. The seventh international location of Michael Chow's namesake culinary empire sits behind plywood right now, but on Tuesday, Dec. 15, the walls come down and guests can whisk upstairs to the second-floor enclave.
Now, both the New Year’s Eve menu and full cocktail and wine menu are out.
Guests can celebrate New Year’s Eve at one of two seatings. The 6 to 8 p.m. or 7 to 9 p.m. seating goes for $222 while seatings at 9:15 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. go for $333 and include a bottle of Veuve Cliquot Yellow Label Champagne per couple.
Guests get the choice of Golden Nugget "Lantern" water dumplings "For Celebration," squab with lettuce, crab claws with gambei, chicken satay, or salt and pepper oyster mushrooms. Follow that up with a choice of live lobster with Mr Chow noodles, green prawns, ma mignon, chili sliced pork or velvet chicken. Everything is served communal style, and everyone at the table has to order something different. Sauteed rice and seasonal vegetables come with every order. For dessert, mixed ice cream.
On the cocktail side of the menu, find the $18 Pineapple 100 with Cîroc pineapple vodka, Grand Marnier 100, pineapple juice and lemon; the $20 Chow-Lini with house-made peach foam and Moët & Chandon Champagne; and the $16 lychee martini with Absolut Elyx Vodka, lychee and a touch of ginger. See the entire menu below.
